The app sends order data to the merchant’s own InvoiceXpress account. It does not itself issue certified fiscal documents. The merchant must maintain that account, configure taxes, series, exemptions and exchange rates, and confirm settings with an accountant. Automatic processing can pause for review; the merchant remains responsible for timely and correct invoicing.
Draft mode requires the merchant to finalize documents in InvoiceXpress. Marking a record as resolved records a review and does not alter fiscal documents. Retries require checking uncertain external results to avoid duplicates. After finalizing a draft manually, use Documents → Refresh status from InvoiceXpress to update the app record. This checks the existing document and does not finalize a draft.
Caravel Invoice PT is free: there are no paid plans and no charges. The InvoiceXpress service is separate. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. No support response time or uninterrupted availability is promised.
The privacy policy describes processing, export and deletion. Fiscal documents remain in InvoiceXpress under the merchant’s retention obligations.
The service is meant for the normal use of a store.
Documents have no monthly limit, with a fair-use ceiling of 5,000 a month per store. Above it we show a notice and talk to the merchant; nothing stops by itself.
Our Data Processing Agreement (caravelsuite.com/legal/dpa) forms part of these terms. When the app processes personal data of the merchant's customers, the merchant is the controller and we are the processor under Article 28 GDPR, and that agreement governs the processing: documented instructions, confidentiality, security measures, sub-processors, assistance with data subject requests, breach notification, deletion at the end of the service and audits. In case of conflict on personal data, the agreement prevails.
